John Baker joined Timmons, Warnes & Anderson, LLP in 2005. A native of Sparta, Georgia, John obtained a business degree at Georgia College and State University before receiving his Juris Doctorate from Mercer University in Macon. There, he gained experience working in law firms specializing in real estate and criminal defense litigation.
John has been a member of the State Bar since 2002 and has most recently worked as an associate at Gordon & Brown, LLP in Athens. Before entering the field of law, he oversaw the management of a family business.
John is a member of the State Bar, the Western Circuit Bar Association, the Young Lawyers of Athens, and the Court of Appeals of Georgia.
John and his young son, Matthew, enjoy fishing, hunting, golf and tennis.
